ITFC participated in III Investment and Export Forum of Chernihiv Region

On May16, the III Investments and Exports Forum of Chernigiv region successfully completed its work, gathered around 200 participants: representatives of executive authorities and local self-government, export promotion and investment promotion authorities, representatives of diplomatic institutions, international financial institutions, domestic and foreign experts, business community. The Forum was organized by the Chernihiv Regional State Administration, the Chernihiv Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Regional Development Agency.
The Executive Director of Ukrainian Investment&Trade Facilitation Center (ITFC) Olena Kudliak was invited as speaker.The Forum was attended by Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Mikhail Titarchuk, Head of the Regional State Administration Valery Kulych, Chairman of the Regional Council Igor Vdovenko, Chernihiv City Mayor Vladislav Atroshenko, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine Gennady Chizhikov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Ukraine Igor Sokol, Chairman of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee Volodymyr Dvornik, as well as delegations from Lithuania, China and Poland and the best representatives of Chernihiv business community - producers of goods and services, exporters, investors, young entrepreneurs - those who are the drivers of the region's economy. The moderator of the event was the President of the Chernihiv Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry Konstantin Ivanov.
The main purpose of the Forum is an active dialogue between the authorities and business, discussion of investment attraction, promotion of export potential of enterprises of the region, and establishment of business contacts.
After the presentation of the regional investment and export potential and the speakers by Forum, two except thematic panels were held: "Perspective directions and actual projects for investing in Chernihiv region" and "Export geography: challenges and opportunities in cooperation with individual countries of the world".
The participants learned about the possibility of export to the USA and Canada, Japan, the countries of the European Union.Back to news
