ITFC completed a research “Multisector Market Study West Ukraine” for the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ukraine

In early August, 2018, the Ukraine Investment and Trade Facilitation Center (ITFC) completed its research “Multisector Market Study West Ukraine”. The research was carried out at the request of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ukraine and included an analysis of economic attractiveness and investment potential of seven regions of West Ukraine (Lviv, Ternopil, Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lutsk, Rivne, Zakarpattia regions) with a view to identifying opportunities for potential cooperation between Ukrainian and Dutch companies.
The purpose of the study is to raise interest of the Dutch companies to do business in West Ukraine and therewith contribute to the private sector development of the region.
Sectors under Study: agro-food and horticulture,industry, bioenergy, production of machinery, equipment, materials for above-mentioned agro-food and horticulture sectors (real and working sites), namely agricultural machinery, seeds and boilers, fertilizers, pesticides, refrigeration equipment, milking complexes, press machines for making juices.
The study was conducted in two phases: 1- desk research, 2 - field studies - visits to regions for meetings with local authorities and business representatives to verify and supplement the collected information.
