ITFC presented first results of the research during the Netherlands-Ukraine Business Forum

On June 25, 2018, in Ternopil, with participation of Ed Hoeks, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Kyiv, there was held the Netherlands-Ukraine Business Forum “Cooperation with the Netherlands” and “Production and processing of vegetables, fruits and berries”. Dutch companies and their official representatives in Ukraine working in the fields of plant growing, animal breeding, food and consumer goods industry, energy efficiency, and service industries, etc., participated in the Forum.
At the request of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, ITFC prepared the first part of the research of business potential of the Western regions of Ukraine, the results of which were presented at the business forum. The main objective of the research was to analyze current state of the reserached agro-food and industrial sectors, to define obstacles to business development in these sectors and regions, and to identify potential ways of cooperation between the Ukrainian and Dutch business.
At the invitation of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ukraine, Stepan Barna, the Head of the Ternopil region state administration, Viktor Ovcharuk, the Head of the Ternopil regional council, and Sergey Nadal, the Mayor of Ternopil, participated in the event.
During the event participants discussed a role of Ukraine in the world market, export potential of the Ukrainian products, as well as special features of the Dutch technologies that can be applied here. More than 90 participants learned about renewable energy technologies, about energy crops, and use of the remains of agricultural crops in order to generate energy.Back to news
