Ensuring gender equality as a strategic step: a vivid example of JDI Integrations

Ensuring gender equality in companies contributes to the increase in productivity and the growth of trust in the team, as well as the career growth of male and female employees. The Empowering Women in Business initiative aims to promote the Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs). The goal of this initiative is to coordinate the efforts of private companies, business associations and non-governmental organizations in the implementation of initiatives aimed at expanding the economic opportunities of women.
Today, there are 33 companies in Ukraine that are signatories to the Principles of Women's Empowerment, including JDI Integrations. "We identified weak points in the company's gender equality policy and realized that for this it is necessary to have the appropriate support and involvement of the management. And they also understood the importance of constant monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of the gender equality policy, which will allow timely identification of problems and adjustment of strategies to achieve better results," emphasizes Anna Gurina, procurement specialist at JDI Integrations.
Aware of the importance of gender equality not only as an ethical but also a strategic step, representatives of the company improve their knowledge and skills regarding possible areas of support for women, in particular, they joined Training on the implementation of the Principles of Women's Empowerment (WEPs), which contributes to the development of appropriate values in the company. JDI Integrations works hard to ensure that every woman can realize herself in the world of business, as well as develop her own career.
In addition, women not only work successfully, but also become strong agents of change in the development of society, economy and culture.
